Kent firefighters deployed the WASP after blaze tore through a thatched roof.

The Warning Alarm for Stability Protection was strapped to a chimney breast to monitor for potential movement.

Six fire engines were called to tackle the blaze at the detached building during the early hours of the morning.

The firefighters deployed the WASP after extinguishing the fire to help them monitor the stability of the fire damaged building. No-one was injured during the blaze.
